Holy Hand Grenade

I have heard rumors of a something called a Holy Hand Grenade of Odus...it is smithed using some Ldon components. Supposedly it does some insane amount off AE DD and crazy stats to SV Fire + a stun effect. I was just wondering if anyone could confirm the existence (or lack of) this item for me.

First the name would not fit the EQ fantasy profile 'Hand grenade' Second with a item this powerful it would have to be hard and expensive to make to prevent people from just walking around with a backpack full of em and nuking everything.

There is a black powder that drops in LDON, nobody has figured out what it is for yet, maybe it's a gunpowder

Well... we gnomes and our tinkering, gunpowder would more than likely use saltpeter, not black powder, that wouldn't make much sense imo! And there was some talk about gundpowder somewhere? Maybe brodder posted it, and saying that it wouldn't balance the game right....heaven knows thats certainly the case. I'd chalk this up to EQ myth rather than fact until we can actually pinpoint a source in game alluding to it....

Um isn't blackpowder the same as gunpowder? a slang term for it if I recall. Saltpeter alone isn't much use, you'd need to mix it with the right combination of sulphur and charcoal to make gunpowder (or as I already mentioned black powder).

Yes, but black powder itself just means what it says, it's powder and it's black :-p wouldn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense for mobs that don't do anything with gunpowder to drop gunpowder *shrug*
