smithing > 199

[Desstinee]

I'm stuck at smithing skill of 199. Been like this for over a month now and I'm really getting ticked off.

I have tried raising my skill by making Acrylia Plate BP's, BA weapons, some of the LDoN BP's, and Mistletoe Cutting Sickles.

Any suggestions on something else I could try that won't drive me crazy farming materials for? Also something that doesn't take me broke, if there is such thing.

Pure stubbornness is all anyone could recommend. I think most folks hit the brick wall somewhere in that range. For me It was 189. Stayed their for 4 months and well over 150 combines.

I did 327 combines to go from 201 to 202...

It's a hell level, you'll get past it if you stick with it!

I've been stuck at 193 since the fine plate nerf. I've probably done 300+ combines off and on since then.

I did ldon smithing combines and didnt get stuff around that lvl. took me around 200 combines to get to 212 from 188.

Wow ... from what I just read I better not complain about the 74 combines to go from 224 > 225 ... especially since I hit 228 with 45 more combines

Actually up until that one streak I was averaging around 1 skillup per 20 combines sooo

230 now and obsessed with 250 Does anyone hate Hollowshade Moor as much as me?

hee hee, I'm currently stuck at 198. Went pretty slick uptil 196, slight bump and then *SMACK* at 198. I'm much to stubborn tho, I can't seem to get myself concentrating on anything BUT smithing til I get to 200.

I don't mind Hollowshade really. Just pull the whole south, AE, loot, repeat. It's the swirling shadows I hate farming. I clear the isle in twilight and then have to sit for 15 minutes for repop. I finally decided that i'd just pay the gougers in the bazaar. I'm at 243 and I just want to finish so I can finally join the 1750 club.
