  • Earing Of the Solstace

Hey gang, I neeed your suggestions on this if you could.

I have 172 smithing right now and am working on my Earing of the Solstace and want to prepare for the final combine.

I can get to 188 smithing with my supply of Leather Padding I figure and was wondering what my expected percent success at 188 would be for the final combine with 5% hammer?

If it really sucks what is the going rate for a GM smith to do the final combine?

    Ideas/suggestions?

5% success Rate on the Final Sickle combine(if you are making your own sickle)

If you are talking about the final combine in the quest to get Xanthe's earring(where you put all 9 gifts in a normal forge), then it is a no fail combine no matter what your smithing skill.

was affraid you would say 5percent

no I was talking about the combine on the sickle itself not the final.

Yikes, this will get pricey indeed.

Thanks guys, you know what a GM smith is charging for the combines on Terris Thule these days?

If you know a GM smith, you can probably make some money selling them the hilt blade and pommel for twice reagent cost. A few of those sales and you'd make enough to buy one outright.

There's a thread on selling combining services. Let's just say opinions and prices vary and leave it at that.
