Anyone can tell me where in New Calzic-Thule which mobs drops Pristine Tae Ew Scales and where they drop the Blood also. Thanks

Blood drops with a pretty good consistency near the Feerrott entrance.

If you find where the pristine scales drop, be sure to let someone know

Like Armaged Said near the front entrence is a good spot to farm bloods. I go there with my 65 cleric and a 54 shaman for the slows. I can usally pull in 7-8 bloods in 2 or 3 hours.
As for the pristine Tae Ew Scales i have yet to see any drop but i was in there today and was talking to a shaman farming bloods for himself. He told me that he had one scale drop in 4Corners camp in CT.
So either tomorrow night or the next im going to pack me up some food grab a tank and have a seat at that camp and kill for awhile and see what happens. If any drop i will be sure to add a reply and let everyone know.

I've heard that they are an ultra rare drop off the brown lizards in the 4 Corners area. That's the pyramid above the maze for those folks (like me) who come from a server with different place names

Blood drops all over the place, it's quite common. All other tradeskill stuff is insane rare. We do the 4C and the pyramid quite often, never seen any pristines there. Once, when we did escort the Gnome in the maze, we got a pristine off a brown ambush mob (Thul Tae Ew Hunter)

Oh, if you plan to go to CT, you better be good at crowd control. The entrance from maze is guarded by two lizards. Every corner has 3 lizards, one of them usually a brown. Browns are level 58-60, got tons of HP, hit hard. They are way tougher than anything you may see in courtyard.
Those are the statics - every side of the pyramid is also patrolled by a lvl 57-59 raptor, plus there are something like 4-5 wanderer lizards running circles around the pyramid, and respawn is 19min 40seconds. There are NO safe spots in 4C.
If you want to try killing browns, you might be better off trying the mudbowl pyramid. The tunnel leading to it is safe. The place has 2 greens guarding tunnel exit, a bunch of wanderers, and 3 browns guarding the pyramid stairs. Once you break in, sitting high up on the side of a mudbowl is fairly safe.

In like 10 hours of fighting in the 4C area, I got 1 pristine scale. I concluded the the stuff was so stupidly rare that I'd be better off farming cash items to buy ornate than I would be trying to hoard enough scales to make some plate greaves.

That was a few months ago, but I don't think drop rates have changed.

I was in CT camping the top of the temple in 4C for about 5 hours last Saturday. During that time we got 3 pristine scales, 1 flawless hide, 2 cazic metal (forget the exact name, the one for jewelcrafting), and about 14 blood.

The only one I have had the chance to combine was the jewelcrafting. I successfully made a CT diamond ring with a 240 + geerlock skill.
