  • Does level restrict how high a tradeskill can go?

I am currently a level 39 Dwarven Smith sitting at a skill of 205. Does my level limit me on advancing above 205, or am I just having really bad luck on my skill-ups? My wisdom is at 220, and I haven't ever gone through such a long spell without seeing my skill raise.

Please enlighten me if you can!

No, the 7 general trade skills have no level requirements attached to them. You can get 250 smithing on a level 1 character.

Good. I have been collecting more LDoN items to brew myself some tempers. I hope I can get a skill-up out of 72 attempts!

205 is in the middle of the "hell ranges" of tradeskilling. They take more combines then they used to, to get a skill up. I was stuck on 205 baking for weeks. Good luck!

Might I also recommend you get a few mor WIS items as well to push yourself to 255 WIS? It DOES make a difference!

I went 327 combines to get from 201 to 202. The early 200's suck for skill ups. You'll get there! Just keep it up with that Dwarven Stubbornness, and you'll see a skill increase.
