Dark elf cultural: Helm dye bug

I made a dark prince regent helm and I was unable to dye it to match the same color as my other visible dark prince pieces. Is this piece bugged and can't be dyed? Or am I just completley losing it?

It should take prismatic dye like anything else. You can't use fine plate dye on it.

If it is not taking prismatic dye, /bug report it.
