    smithing

    hello,everyone i'm new so hope this is thr right way of doing this.
    I'm having a problem understanding about smithing, i go to crushbone and loot and find(a brick of crude bronze) but i don't find anything about it's use in tradeskills or in smithing receipes, i ask while playing the game and can't get a straight answer, can this be use for anything or is it a sell item. please help and thank you for your time and effort.

    It's for the newbie wood elf and high elf quests. Look under quests for more info on the regular site (www.eqtraders.com).

        Assuming you're lowish level (i.e. fighting in crushbone for xp), any type of ore you loot at this level is going to be for one or other of the newbie armour quests (see under quests on the main site page).
        These are very specific recipes designed to introduce beginners to tradeskills and to create a basic set of armour. If you haven't already started them, then go back to your starting guild and hail a few npcs until one of them starts talking about armour (or read the writeups on the site here )

        If you seriously want to take up smithing, dig up a copy of Zeralenn's guide to smithing (also on the site under the guides section). This will tell you everything you want to know about smithing, how to get started and how to progress.

        Warning ! Tradeskills are not easy or cheap. You will end up throwing great wadges of plat into your chosen skill(s) with very little to show for it (except for maybe a strained wrist) until much later on.

          Not to mention a sore index finger from all the clicking and the possibility of having to show off a brand new flashy mouse because your old one just decided that you clicked way too much...
