Can this ever been confirmed that >250 str/wis/int actually improves the skill rate?
Not to bump this again, but this question didn't get answered (or I'm too stoopid).

Chenier, yes it has been confirmed. I personally asked developers and they confirmed that stats over 255 does indeed contribute to skill ups in tradeskills.

OK, so next question...if your current WIS/INT/STR cap is set at 280 (level 65, no Planar Power or Innate Enlightenment), does it still think that you could have a max of 355 for all intensive purposes, or does it see that 280 is your cap and therefore maxed out, leaving little room for the RNG to flake out on you?

My unbuffed WIS is calculated at around 320ish, but having taken a break from exp'ing, my WIS still reads 280 since I never put any points into PP or IE (my next 18 AAs are going into NTCM anyway).

          Bump

          Great question here.

If you are under lvl 60 and have a max of 255 in the stat for tradeskill. Are you "maxed" for your stat. or is it calculating it with the 355 value?

If this is true it would be putting a penalty on all char under 65 let alone us poor souls that are doing it as a fun part of the game instead of just doing uber tradeskillling quest.

Can anyone verify the Stat limits per Level?

            Calm down

            /sigh

People under level 65 are not getting "hosed"...

People who don't max out their stat AAs are not getting "hosed"...

The simple fact of the matter is, the higher your primary stat (Str, Int, Wis), the better bonus you get towards making a skill-up.

Thus, people who put in the extra effort of reaching 65 (and getting the gear to raise their stats) receive a bonus. People who put in the extra effort of maxing out their stat AA receive a bonus.

Isn't that a contradiction in terms?

People under level 65 are not getting "hosed"...
              and

People who put in the extra effort of maxing out their stat AA receive a bonus.
This implies that it would be useless to do tradeskilling before you maxed out your stats to 355, since only then would you receive the highest bonus. Tradeskilling before this point would cause one to incur a high cost to gain skill ups since the bonus wouldn't be as high as compared to being 65 with 355 to your stats. Therefore, I would say that due to the second statement, people under level 65 are getting hosed because they aren't getting the highest bonus possible.

Only in the same way they're getting "hosed" by not having the mobs they kill drop a fair amount of plat and nice weapons/armour.
Funnily enough, this game is based on level, the higher you are - the greater the rewards.

For those wondering, all of my chars have skilled up with a max of 255 in a stat, I have no chars over 60.
