I find the bottleneck is the Essence of Winter, yes. I have had the same results no matter where I farm. IG's, Yeti's it matters not, the stuff is just kinda rare. Bazaar and Vendor farming is costly but far more effective when I am looking for large lots.

Actually, Ive never had any problems getting EoW. The IGs in everfrost are permacamped. Simply offer to bank for them, and youll get quite a bit. I have far more EoW, and not enough ice gobby bloods to make tempers out of em. Make a note of who's doing the camping, and ask if they'll sell to you.

I think it's dropping elsewhere as well -- possibly Miragul's. I know I see a lot of EoW on LDoN vendors. Talking to the person doing IGs and offering to ATM (convert copper, silver and gold to plat) in exchange for first crack at EoW might be a good idea. Or just buy the EoW. I know my trader has ~25 from normal mining activities, and I just sold another batch about the same size.
