    Hello everyone,

I GM'ed smithing about a year or more ago on the Zebuxoruk server. I bowed out shortly after Tae Ew chain became mainstream (several months ago) and haven't logged in since. I was thinking about getting back online and doing some smithing, and was curious if anyone could give me a quick update on high-end smithing.

Sorry if this is a dead horse or the like, I used to be a steady member on this forum. Thanks for your time in advance.

    Regards,
    Tsi

wellwell, welcome back to the boards, even if you don't get back into the game, fall

i'm not too familiar with the gm level smithing yet (my smith's still in her 160s), but ldon did introduce new 190 to 212 bridge. considered good by many, terrible by several (mostly those who're already past that range), and a few sets actually sell well. but you've prob'ly seen that in several of the other posts

Not sure how "well" the new sets are selling, since I saw maybe dozens of the new armor at rock bottom prices last night on E'Ci. BPs for 100pp. The drop rate combined with the popularity of LDoN missions is present a steady and increasing stream of tempers to bring goods to the market.

On the other hand, if you hunt in LDoN a lot, it does present a viable skill-up path, as I understand that the vendor sell-back is decent. can't confirm that myself yet (I'm past using the LDoN armor for skilling, saving them for my wife, who's not quite there yet).

I find cultural still sells, although slower and for lower prices than a few months ago. My guess is with fewer people doing PoP ones, ornate molds/patterns have slowed, making Blue diamond cultural popular again.
