Revelation -- horrible for 250 smiths!!

As a long-time grandmaster smith I tearfully bring the following news to all fledgling smiths:

The new LDoN upgrade path not only provides a path from the 180s (or so) to 212 smithing, but also...

The new ringmail sells for approximately 130% of its cost-to-make back to the vendors. Thus, the upgrade path is essentially free. Heck I get nearly a stack of goblin bones every time I go on a Rujarkian adventure.

*cry* smithing is no longer hard to max! Oh the competition!!



JK. Good luck everyone who is still in this trivial range. And make/sell some stuff while its still marginally profitable! =)

I think the ringmail takes you to only 188 max. so it hasn't really made that part of the progression any easier, just far more affordable.

Post 188 when you're making plate it is now easier if you have access to a forager - for me the temper ingredients are far too expensive atm and you take a loss on the sellback.

I was already at 216 when LDoN came out.

Still going to make some of the Plate though... if I can get the Temper ingrediants.
