Staff of the Observers - Troll Cultural

I know that you have to get an evil eye len to get the Staff of the Observers that is used in Troll Cultural smithing, but I can't find evil eye lens anywhere, I have camped in Runny Eye and Beholders for several hours and found nothing.

Can someone help me by telling me where to find evil eye lens?

Used to be on Borxx and he used to drop it every time. Now im told it's on the eye prisoners and doesn't drop every time.

I have been camping the evil eye prisoners for the past two days and I haven't got a single evil eye len to drop. Am I just unlucky or did they change the drop to uber rare?

don't hold me to it but i am 80 percent sure that lens drops of king xorbb

Looks like it's screwed up. Need to bug report this. Either it got fouled up on loot table or it's uber rare.

Lens has dropped every time I've kill Lord Soptvyr(sp). 'Course that's only been thrice.

okies looked online hehe i was thinking of the sap sheen staff hehe the lens for observerstaff used to drop off of a ee named broxx who seem to no longer be in game
peeps saying the prisoners drop the loot so...
guess neckringer had it right the first time durn that meddling kid and his dog too!!!

No idea about the prisoners or their drop rate, but I know that the lens that drops from Soptvyr is the Lens of Lord Soptvyr, which is used in a Paineel quest.

He may drop both nowadays, but the old lens he dropped prolly wouldn't work in the Observer quest.
