Success rate on cultural armor

What is the average success rate on the culturals for a 250+ smith?

Did some attempts on Dark Prince Regent for a friend recently.

BP - 1/1
Greaves - 1/1
Sleeves - 1/1
Gloves - 0/2
Bracers - 1/4 (ugh)
Boots - 1/1
Collar - 1/1
Helm - 1/1

This was with 227 skill using 15% mod item.

I skilled up from 175-220 doing the enchanted adamantite stuff, had a very high success rate - but don't have exact numbers. Would guess 80-85%.

My experience has been about 50% across all BD cultural combines for a GM smith.

I can tell you 85% is WAY too high...

Since reaching 250, I have 97 successes and 90 failures on the blue diamond cultural armor. But that includes unimbued plate and a bunch of chainmail... the ratio would be lower just counting cultural platemail. Also I lost an additional 40 blue diamonds on the crushing and brewing steps.

papy - that 85% rate was not on the BD stuff, it was on the plain enchanted/imbued stuff.

I've been swaying between about as low as 15% and as high as 70%, on my trip from 210-ish raw skill to 233 skill now.

Just tonight I made some more Fine Heraldic for a customer; BP and Greaves in one attempt, Vambraces took three and for two Bracers I needed nine ... speaking about the RNG, heh

My success rate (244 skill with Trophy now) is about 40-50% on average, I'd say. Rough estimate is about 1% per additional skill point, so I guess it will amount to about 50% at 250 skill.

I've always heard that the success rate on BD cultural as a 250 +mod blacksmith is 40-50%.

I have yet to see anything to disprove that average either.
