  • Livestone Breastplate?

I wasn´t into tradeskilling for a long time but since we advanced in the elementals i am quite curious about the armor sets that can be made from the drops there. How many of the following components do i have to collect to have a smithy create me one of those great BPs?

    Earth Mephit Blood
    Liquefied Earth
    Chips of Granite
    Brick of Immaculate Steel

The earth and granite seems to be pretty rare and what i read from the recipe section i really need alot, like 7 liqu. Earth, 7 Mephit Blood and not sure about the Granite...i heard you get a stack of 4 granite powder if you combine 3 chips of granite?? Confusing..

If you know the correct number please let me know and btw, whats the fail / success rate with like 225 smithing + 5 %?

The plate armor seems much harder than PoE-Silk Armor, you only need some stonewood saps that are not that rare plus the common silk if I am right..

    thx for your help

    Assuming no fails:

    Earth Mephit Blood X 7
    Liquefied Earth X 6
    Chips of Granite X 6
    Brick of Immaculate Steel X8
    Raw Diamond X1

    You will be left with
    Powdered Granite X 2
    Livestone Chain Rings X1
and Hopfully have a very nice new BP.

I have yet to make any Elemental Stuff so I can't comment on success rates. Considering the difficulty in gathering the components though, I would not trust the combine to anything short of a 252 modified Smith.

You will also have something along the lines of a 40% success rate at best.

I made one for my husband and am now collecting the components to make one for my GL. I know how exciting it is for people to try stuff as soon as they can, but with the rarity of the components, I think you would be wise to wait until an adjusted 250 before trying it.......

And at 250, failed one last night.
