Could be wrong, but I've always been under the impression that for successes the only thing that comes into play is your skill level (with modifiers). So the buffs should help you on the level increases, but the success is solely based on skill level. Sounds like the RNG likes you, pass some of that around!
On a side note, the most sickles I've done in one night was a run at 100 (back when they went for 2k, and yes, I was totally insane, and was already at 250 +trophy) I would do them in stacks, some stacks I'd get 1 of 20, others I'd get 10 of 20, averaged out to be 49 successes out of 100 that night. I quit making them when they fell below 1500, and now only do them for guildees usually when they bring me the final combine.
Good job on the skill ups, and hope it keeps going for you. I know the RNG has had it in for me since I hit 250.
