Do skill mod items stack?

I am fairly sure they don't just want to confirm.

I have the Automated Quill that's +5% research, and goes into primary slot.

I also have a Thought Horror scalp, a HEAD piece, also +5% research.

My Research is 200.

If I equip both Quill and Scalp, will it result in a 10% boost, or I'll have 5% still? Thanks!

From the thread Skill Modifying Items (Geerlok, etc) in the Frequently Asked Questions forum:

Q: If I have multiple enhancing items, does their effect stack or does it use the highest percentage one only?
A: According to the most recent communication with VI, the effects do NOT stack. Only the highest-bonus item of those you are wearing/wielding will apply.

Sorry, no stacking.
