why is my post gone!?!

DONT REMOVE MY POSTS! There are no guidelines to follow in this forum that are clearly visible, so unless you do post something, leave my posts alone!

I have no idea if a mod removed your post or not, since I didn't see your original post. I can think of three possibilities of what might have happened:

1) You didn't post when you thought you had. I've done this before - I clicked preview and forgot to click Submit before I closed the browser.

2) You posted and the board hiccupped. There are still a few issues with the board's service provider and occassionally they do something that messes up the board and recent posts get eaten.

3) Your post was removed. Guidelines for posting are here in the Visitors Corner. Look closely at Item 10 in the first post (take moderation questions to Private Messages) and at Ngreth's reply to the first post (we have no USA first amendment (free speech) rights here on this privately-owned board, so mods can do anything they like with posts, including deleting for no reason at all [hypthetically - to my knowledge, this hasn't happened in the past]).

No, I'm not a mod or anyone with an EQTraders official voice, but just thought I'd point this out.

First off, it seems that your post was removed because you were advertising your skills in the general forum, when it says pretty clearly in the http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=1Visitor's Corner</a> that all buying/selling of tradeskill goods and services are to be done in the Marketplace Forums <b>only</b>.

Second off, who do you think you are, to come to someone else's message boards, and tell them not to remove your posts?!

There are many ways a post could have been accidentally removed, or even deliberately removed.

Since I didn't see the original post, I can not comment.
