can't confirm primal avatar not being no drop, but the dropped version of Illusion: Vah shir is lore and the research version is not.. so maybe they did take that into consideration for the lore and no drop spells out there.Petercorbin Goblynfoe, the Elusive 65 shaman

In the trivials listing, it shows someone has done the combine somewhere, because it says its > 177 from what I read. So not sure what they did.Comment

I found the books discussing the shaman spell combines in PoK. They are in the building right by the nexus stone, on Yuriah Jomsab. Primal Avatar is not listed in the book at all.Comment

On a side note, are there any other classes with spells that are only available as No Drop drops in high level zones that require difficult keys?

The only ones I can think of off hand are the ancient spells in VT. Since Velious is several expansions old, there probably should be some consideration to remove the no drop flag from primal avatar. There really is not a high priority for farming keys to ST anymore. There are too many other time sinks to which there is much more of an advantage to invest in.Comment
