Words of Agony dropped for me last night in Veksar from a Vessel.

I have hunted in Veksar (zone under lake of ill omen) for a bit now. Lots of hi lvl research stuff drops there, most are random, including this one. Hope this helps

I had two Words of Agony drop off the undead mobs in Veksar a couple nights ago.

Want to say thanks to all of you for all the information on these words. I have been fighting in Veksar nearly everynight for weeks and have not seen them drop yet. I usually hotbox my Druid and Rogue, so I should not have missed them if they dropped. Would love to have them for my Necro. I have received the Words of Asylum off on the mobs here and have 3 copies of them.

Not sure where, but someone in my guild got one at some point. I see one for sale in the bazaar once in a while as well. Price was 40k I think. I am guessing that it is used for something a lot rarer than Pox of Bertoxx if it really commands that kind of price.

See above. It is the rare word for the almost never seen spell "Dead men Floating"

A wee bit of a story with a /bounce.

My guild had been exploring ChardokB and Veksar in recent weeks where some nice research bits had been dropping. (I recall the most recent ones coming from Veksar now that I ponder more) Well, our ML was picking up all these bits and I was content to just request the necro words and wiz runes later.

So there's a group of us hunting in Torgiran Mines with the same guildie who'd ML'ed before and he decides to hand out those bits then. I'm enjoying myself helping kill the miners and other than making sure I had enough open slots for what he popped into my trade window, thought nothing more of the research bits.

It wasn't until later that I looked through to put them away that I realized I had gotten a copy of Words of Revenant!!! and Words of Agony!!!

So after bouncing around the room for a bit, I manage to put the combines together (remembering to equip my geerlok quill) and am the proud and happy owner of Dead Men Floating and my 59 specter pet.

I think the relevant info in this long-winded tale is that I'm vaguely remembering Revenant and Agony dropping in Veksar.

well here's my experience. i just added this to the main drop list by zone sticky page, but since agony has a thread of it's own. and since i've been fortunate enough.

on the rathe where i dwell. wyverns in the caves of WW drop them.
in veksar. any, and i do mean ANY, of the undead in the two north west most rooms ( where the warlocks spawn ) north west most room looks like a small arena type room ( 1 named warlock spawns ). next room over ( 3 named, warlock, lord, and something else ) think it's called the shaman guild.

i had words of agony drop off the lesser of all the undead in there called a vessel. these two rooms are almost never camped. almost i say because i spend 2 to 5 hours a day camping both rooms. in about 150 kills ( and if you look at my post on droplist by zone ). they've all droped a random more rare research component.

This word does in fact drop in AT LEAST 2 places (that I myself have seen):

1. During the 8th shawl quest.
2. In Veksar, Warlok camp, I believe.
