Armor of Endless Honor vs. Honorific Mantle

Pallysplain to me how these two things are different?

They are both level 83, they are both dmg mitigation.

One is category Melee guard and the other is Category: NPC

Honorific Mantle seems to absorb a little more dmg, but that's it?

I'm trying to figure out if Honorific Mantle has a recipe.

hmm - lol, nevermind I seem to have already gotten the recipe for Honorific Mantle at some point
