  • Spell: Bite of the Blightwolf Rk. II

There are seven spells for Shaman at level 88. Before I started, no spell recipes had been posted. So far, I have crafted five of them changing papers in previously posted recipes at lower or higher levels.

Presently I am attempting and failing the direct damage poison spell.

This is level 98 Seedspitter's Bite
1 x Quill of the Prophet - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Bertoxxulous' Ink Additive - Bought
1 x Ink of Tunare - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Prexus - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Pain - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Consuming Thickener - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Fine Sortilege Sheet - Crafted

This is what I expected 88 Bite of the Blightwolf to be
1 x Quill of the Prophet - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Bertoxxulous' Ink Additive - Bought
1 x Ink of Tunare - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Prexus - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Pain - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Consuming Thickener - Crafted, Bought
    1 x Fine Numen Plaque - Crafted

However, the ingredients do not combine.

well, I'm finding that lots of the sortilege recipes make no sense - wrong quills, wrong thickeners, wrong inks....

This is a direct damage poison spell - so things like consuming thickener and ink of tunare make no sense.

If I had to guess at this recipe - I'd go with

    Quill of the Prophet
    Fine Numen Plaque
    Ink of Pain
    Arcane Thickener
    Saryrn's Ink Additive

    Confirmed.

AKA Muertenie, Melodee, Orelinde, Nounie, Gnomess, Cininea Ashryn, Mairede or a host of additional alts. Maybe also be found on Rabon, Kynsh or Atracker.

I am glad you got it; this means that both spells purchased with one median nebulous dream fragment may be crafted. I hate it when one of a pair has a known recipe but the other does not.
