Can anyone tell me how to do spell research on the progresion server? I have looked and looked and cant figure it out. with the terrible gouging of spells this is a must to make some for my toons as cant afford higher than the normal servers for spells.

On Fippy serrver we are at Kunark. None of the old recipes work and the spell components are only good for making celestial essence. You must use the new system of hides and various inks & quills. You can get to 119 skill level but no higher. Even though the drops are available for Kunark spells, you cannot research the spells, you have to get them from drops/quests. -
If/when you decide to do research spells on Fippy during Kunark expansion; look at the spells that are multi-class. Some are below 50 for one class but above 50 for another. There will be a great demand for those spells even during Kunark. One example is Paralyzing Earth, a root spell that is sub 50 for WIZ/NEC/ENC but 50+ for SHM/CLR.Comment

I have discovered three spells from Velious that are researchable during Kunark expansion on Fippy Darkpaw.
1) Greater Mass Enchanct Velium
2) Improved Invisibility vs Undead
