Updating the Spell Research Pages - have a couple questions!

I have started trying to make some updates to the pages that deal with Spell Research here on EQTC and though I have a necro who is a master researcher, I have a couple of questions for the community to make sure I get the information right on the pages.

When it comes to research performed by non-int casters:
*Can a hybrid research any hybrid spell or only spells for their class?
*Priests can they research only for their class or any priest based spell?
*Melee Tomes - who can research these? Anyone?, Melee only?, hybrids and melee?, int casters and melee?

An Int caster can Research any spell or song, but no tomes

A Wis caster can Research any Wis caster spell, but no song or tome.

A pure melee can Research any tome, but no spell or song.

A hybrid (other than a Bard) can research any hybrid spell or tome, but not anything outside of that.

A Bard can Research any song or Bard tome, but nothing outside that.

I'm making good headway on this stuff....one more question

I've come across some tome recipes that have hybrid spell kit and song writing kits listed as well. Can tomes be combined in these? I'm assuming no on the song writing kit since it should be bard only and bards can't make pally tomes...

There are Bard Tomes, so the Song Writing Kit can be used for at least a couple of them, although since Bards cannot make spells, I would say they cannot make non Bard tomes either. I have no firm basis for this though other than logic. Perhaps a Bard who does Research could toss one of the low level SK or Paladin tome combines into their kit and see if they get the Will Not Combine message.

So does that imply that Tomes can be combined in Hybrid Research kits if the tome is researchable by a hybrid?

Also, what about skills....what kind of kits can skills be combined in? Tome binding kits and hybird/spells?

I am not sure what the difference between a Tome and a Skill is. As far as I recall, they both are made as Tomes and scribed in the same fashion and in the same containers as a standard Tome.

I cannot verify that all hybrid tomes can be made in the Hybrid Research Kit, but the 61, 69 and 73 SK and Paladin tomes can be, so I assume the rest can as well.
