  • Melee/Hybrid Research

Just as a general inquiry. I was doing research on melee/hybrid research and from the all the recipes I could find Any Hybrid can make any Hybrid tome, and any Melee can make any Hybrid or Melee tome (seems only the tomes that aren't vendor sold).
I've also noticed that for example "used parchments" are used in sk/pal tomes that are up to lvl 298 triv but for melees there are trivs 298,299, and 300 making that component much more versitile for their researching training.

I'm just curious as why it's that way and not the other way around. Coming from a role playing view. Hybrids generally have more wis/int (notice the gear). Hybrids have always casted spells thus are more familiar through the way of spells. And SK/bard hybrids are hybrids of Int casters, the original researchers. Shouldn't Hybrids, especially SK and Bards be more versitile in the terms of research?

Just curious on other peoples thoughts on this and why it was decided to go this route.

Remember, hybrid Researchers can make more than just tomes.

Melee tome research has some lower trivials to make up for the fact that they have no Mastery AA, while hybrid spell research has a more smooth path up to 298, as they have a few combines between the melee's level 55 and level 61 tomes. Call it luck of the draw if you want, as melee have an easier time with the last two points to 300, while hybrids have it easier from 262 to 298.

If you could point out these easier means from 262-298 I'd appreicate it.
