Hybrid Research Skillup Path Suggestions?

Any skillup path suggestions for hybrids to reach 300?

For the most part, I don't have any desired spells for my class that I need to make, nor do I wish to sell spells in the Bazaar.

My path thus far (I'm at 247) is/was Vellum Solution to 243, and then Researcher Ceramic Clay to 262. Once I hit 262, I am looking for something similar from there.

Is my only choice now making spells, or is there an equivalent to Vellum Solution and Researcher Ceramic Clay? I won't go as far as to say plat is no object, but reasonable component farming is fine too (i.e. Drake Wing Webbing I consider acceptable -- slow but doable). However, a bazillion subcombines admittedly has the least appeal for me.

You might try Tome of Guard of Humility to 298 skill. I did not find the parchments all that hard to come by when farming them for my wife's Melee Research and she skilled up to 298 before I ran out of parchments, so the advancement rate must have been workable. The cost was not something I boast of, but it was also not unreasonable, and I could have gotten the costs lower yet by farming the solution components instead of buying them.

Spells and tomes are the only way to go above 262 with a non pure caster Researcher.

Edit - I did not notice you were a Shadow Knight. Perhaps Tome of Soul Guard would suit you better, and it is the same trivial.
