There is the question of the year on a lot of spells that are currently unknown.

A fair number of the community have hammered away at the unknown spells, slowly whittling down the list, but there are a dozen still with no known recipe, and Guide of Toxicity is one of them.

One contributor's thought is that we should use:

    Fine Grimoire
    Quill of the Deceiver
    Ink Additive of the Nameless
    Invigorating Thickener
    Ink of Infliction
    Ink of Saryrn

as a base for the creation of the tome and modify it until we find the right combination, but so far, nobody has managed to guess it.

Fine Grimoire is a given, since it is a 73 tome, Quill of the Deceiver likewise, since it is a Rogue tome. Ink Additive of the Nameless is the base of most melee tomes, although Rogue poison disciplines have also used Saryrn's Ink Additive (the Ink Additive dictates what Resist the discipline works against and this one is a buff, which normally would be Ink Additive of the Nameless, since the target is not resisting anything). Invigorating Thickener is a single target buff, which is what this discipline does. Ink of Saryrn is a Poison effect, again in line with this discipline. Ink of Infliction increases melee damage, which again is a reasonable guess.

The problem is, so far reasonable guesses are not working for the dozen spells. In this case, should we add an Ink of Zek (ATK increase)? Should we try an Ink of Pain (added damage)? Is one of above Inks not needed and we should replace one with another type?

Your guess at present is as good as anyone else's. Like many of us, you can spend an hour at some point hammering away at the recipe and it would be great if you found the right combination. We have come to the point where no new recipes have been found in several weeks and a couple of requests for assistance both on this board and on the official EQ boards have not been answered, so the recipes must be logical in some way.

If we are going with the original effect which spawns the second effect I haven't a clue.

However, if we are going with the second effect my guess is

      Fine Grimoire
      Quill of the Deceiver
      Saryrn Ink Additive
      Debilitating Thickener
      Ink of the Listless
      Ink of Ayonae Ro
