Similar problem with challenge for honor except for AC instead of damage reduction.

I think the recipe should be:

Paper
Quill of the Dread Lord
Luclin's Ink Additive
Debilitating Thickener
Ink of Innoruuk

INks: I also tried (x2) Ink of Innoruuk and an Ink of the Tribunal for AC effect on recourse. No combinations worked.

Thickener: Tried Extending Thickener with all ink combinations above also.

It turned out to be:

I am not sure why Ink of Zek was used, since that would normally enhance Attack, not AC, but I tried it and it worked, so I guess no purpose in worrying about it.

I've noticed Ink of Zek seems to sometimes be associated with any process effect to sometimes include recourse effects although this is not done consistently.

I dont see the ink of pain in that description although I don't play an shadow knight. Is the effect also a rune or life drain?

That would be the odd part.

There seems to be three modes to the spell.

When cast, it generates aggro.

It continues to generate aggro, which can be verified by having someone else in the group take aggro, then having the group turn off attacks. The mob will change targets to the SK after a short time.

The SK gains AC, which gradually erodes over time until the SK is back to his base AC. This buff shows up in the Song window.

Now, the Paladin spell, which is the same recipe other than the Quill, generates a Rune. I do not play a Paladin, so I have not done experiments with the aggro generation, but I would assume that part is the same. The Paladin I made the Challenge for Honour spell for in the first place said she got an icon in her Song Window and did not see an AC increase, but she did get a message when the rune was knocked down.
