I think the recipe should be:

    Runic Paper
    Quill of the Arch Lich
    Bertoxxulous' INk Additive
    Extending Thickener
    Ink of Pan

Thickener: I also tried Conjuring Thickener since it can summon an item.

Inks: I also tried adding Ink of the Nameless for the summoned item with both thickeners.

      Runic Paper
      Bertoxxulous' Ink Additive
      Ink of Pain
      Ink of Zek
      Ink of the Nameless
      Quill of the Arch Lich
      Extending Thickener

Thanks Xerius. I don't see why it would use Ink of Zek but I'm glad you thought of it.

I noted that the 71 Necro spell used Ink of Zek, and since it also produced a Lifeshard (an Essence Emerald) I decided to give it a shot.

Drink of Vitae of course does not use it and produces a Lifeshard as well, so it is not exactly a template, but it worked, so I suppose I will not worry too much about it.
