  • Assassin Discipline Rk. II dnc

whatever the solution is to the berserking discipline rk 2, (see the missing spells thread) it is probably the same answer to Assassin Discipline Rk. II, because they are essentially the same skill only one is ber and one is rog.

Having the same inability to combine the most likely candidates-
for a more complete list of what i tried see that post I mentioned, but from the description
    Description:

1: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 123%
2: Increase All Skills Minimum Damage Modifier by 492%
Increases the damage of all of your melee attacks.

    my best guess is

    fine runic grimoire (lev 75)
    quill of the deceiver (rogue)
ink additive of the nameless (unresistable)
impairing thickener (effects that will draw out over time)

    * possibly invigorating?
ink of bruising (increase minimum dmg one does) - no question

then there is no ink that specifically is for general dmg increase, the very closest are ink of striking (increase ability to hit a target)
or ink of finesse (do dmg using one or all skills)

however bruising with either of those inks is still a DNC.

so whoever finds one will have found the other, IMO.

well someone posted the berserkng discipline... I dont have access to a melee researcher right now to test it but Assassin should follow exactly (swapping in rogue quill).

I thought I went over that combo, assuming the poster meant affliction for infliction, but gets hard to keep track with swapping several different pieces...
my point tho is this recipe is just *wrong*, unless the description of the ink is wrong, which i have down as "decrease dmg done by attack" which i copied from the tome research manual (possibly wrongly copied?)
If thats what it says however, then either the manual should be changed to "increase or decrease damage done by attack", or the wrong ink was selected to create the recipe because there is nothing "decreased" about the berserking discipline.
[1: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 151%
2: Increase All Skills Minimum Damage Modifier by 605% ]

whoops I stand corrected as per the sod data post on the berserker discipline. I had copied a list of the inks from the tome research books back when they came out, and i either made a boo boo and missed it or it was updated after I got it written down in a file.

Explains why I was having difficulty completing tomes!
And to make matters worse, the use for the ink of affliction I also had wrong- looking at my file I guess I had them mixed up. Like Roane, (did I spell that right?) tired eyes likely- I propose that the database entry for the inks also include its use/definition. It isnt even listed at allak for that matter. =/ The only way to confirm what they do was to rebuy the book and look it up. (I dont have the room to hold them)

well maybe now I can make some tomes =D
