Just wondering if this sounds realistic. I am currently at 180 in researching. I made 9 vellum parchment solutions which are supposed to be trivial at 203. They were recommended for use in skillups from 175-203. I didn't get a single skillup in making 9 of them. Is this typical or did I miss something I need to do?

I'm just trying to plan for levelling research. I'm going to have to do a lot more farming or save up some plat to be able to do this.

Very realistic.

While research tends to give a skill up about 1 in 10 combines, it is not uncommon to go to 20-30 without a skill up. People even report going over 100 combines without a skill-up, but fortunately that is not so common.

It can be dependent on archetype too. Believe hybrids get the shaft on research skill ups.
