Todays patch - "appropriate changes"

Many spells combines changed in todays patch, any ideas what the "appropriate" change was.

Summon Elemental Armaments is now DNC based on current recipe.

I noticed that my druid's level 69 spell "Serpent Vines" which was prior NODROP to today's patch which I had made for my druid was changed into the level 61 ranger spell "Earthen Embrace". My druid was very unhappy.
I'm trying to petition to get it changed back into the correct spell.
