  • HELP: Aura of Runes Discipline (66 Warrior)

Has anyone determined the recipe for the level 66 warrior tome: Aura of Runes Discipline? This is the last recipe on Ngreth's posted list of tome recipes that I haven't been able to solve.

I've tried many combinations involving Invigorating or Talisman Thickener, Ink Additive of the Nameless, and many combinations of Inks of the Martyr, Clout, Zek, and the Tribunal along with a Quill of the Overlord and Fine Runic Parchment Manual but have not had any luck yet.

    From Kumbaja:
    Aura of Runes Discipline
1: Add Proc: Rune Effect (200% proc rate modifier)
    the Rune Effect is:
6: Increase Absorb Damage by 400

In comparison to the confirmed recipe of a similar discipline:
Aura of Draconic Runes Rk. II (71 warrior)
1: Add Proc: Draconic Rune Effect Rk. II (200% proc rate modifier)
the Draconic Rune Effect Rk. II is:
6: Increase Absorb Damage by 1000
Rough Grimoire, Quill of the Overlord, Talisman Thickener, Ink Additive of the Nameless, Ink of the Tribunal

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Is this an actual aura, or is it just confusingly named?

Tome of Aura of Runes Discipline
    Fine Runic Parchment Manual
    Quill of the Overlord
    Ink Additive of the Nameless
    Invigorating Thickener
    Ink of Clout
    Ink of Pain

Thank you very much for the assistance, Ngreth!

I do not believe that it's an aura such as the ones that affect a whole group that were introduced with Prophecy of Ro, since this discipline originally came as a result of turning in the level 66 minor muramite runes in the Omens of War expansion. Both the level 66 Aura of Runes Discipline and the level 71 Aura of Draconic Runes Rk. II discipline show as self buffs according to the data.

Since I do not play a warrior, I can only guess from the spell data, but I believe this adds a chance for your melee attacks to proc a rune effect that can protect you from some melee damage (thus why I was trying Ink of the Tribunal instead of Ink of Pain).

      Thanks again,
      Delph
