Are TSS Melee Tomes researchable?

I was trying something as straight forward as the following and it does not combine:


Tome of Blinding Flash Rk. II (lvl 71 Rogue, TSS) - in Tome Binding Kit:

Quill of the Deceiver
Rough Grimoire
Debilitating Thickener

Ink of Tranquility


So are TSS Melee Tomes researchable?

I did a search for "Grimoire" in the SoD Data Forum with no results coming up. i.e. it appears that no one has submitted a recipe for a TSS Melee Tome yet.

Also did a search for "Grimoire" in this Research Forum. No entry after SoD launch except for this thread of mine.

dont think there is a recipe for this yet. as a post on eq forums ngreth said he wasnt given a full list of rank 2 spells. heres a copy of the tomes he listed there:

I'll try to see if I can get Tome of Aura of Draconic Runes Rk. II to combine.

(I initially tried using Ink of Zek + Ink of Tribunal for this one and it does not combine. But at least your post has given me hope to press forward with this one and see if it'll work.)

Still can't get Tome of Aura of Draconic Runes Rk. II.

Tried Ink of the Martyr, Ink of Clout, Ink of Zek with Ink of Tribunal.
Tried Ralo's Ink Additive.
Tried Striking Thickener and Imparing Thickener.

Nor can I get Tome of Tendon Cleave Rk. II (lvl 71 Zerker, TSS).

This should be the same as Tome of Crippling Strike (lvl 67 Zerker, OoW).

Tome of Crippling Strike (lvl 67 Zerker, OoW) works:

Ink of the Listless
Ralo's Ink Additive

But using the same recipe (just changing the paper) does not work for Tome of Tendon Cleave Rk. II (lvl 71 Zerker, TSS):

Isn't ink of clout used for tomes that have a proc component? I believe ink of zek is used for procs in spells. At least thats the impression I get from the systematic tome research books.

Ink of the tribunal does work for the rune component but historically ink of pain is used for runes.

Also it is a self only buff so it should use invigorating thickener instead of talisman thickener.

The others... are you sure they are TSS spells?
