I am totally confused about the use of the powders. Are there 2 spells to make the essenses? One for a lower trivial and one for higher trivials or just the one spell that that requires level 65 to use? Is there somewhere the receipes are listed for the powders? I cannot find them under spell research.

I thought they were to be used to make the clicky scrolls and help raise trivials but do you have to be a level 65 in order to use them? Aaaarg! Help!

I have been over that and over that and still don't understand. Is there a spell involved (Focus intricate spellcaster's essence) or not? Is there a lower level spell available? Have I got two things mixed up? Focus Intricate Spellcaster's Essence can only be used at level 65 (which I am not). I made the spell and then found I can't use it so assumed there would be a lower level spell available for the lower trivials.

Powders are combine with the level appropriate essences that are summoned by the focus and mass focus essence spells to make

Now, the Crude Enchanted Spell Parchment from these powders are used in the final combine for Crude Scroll of Static Strike as one example.

So basically the Powders are used in the subcombines for the XXX Scroll of XXX.

I think I am getting a glimmer of hope. If I understand correctly, there is a lvl 16 spell _Focus Crude Spellcaster's essence-that can be used with the powders. All I have to do is find the receipe for that spell and then I can start using all the powders I have gathered to make the scrolls. Does anyone know where to find the receipe for the spell?

I would check the SoF data entry folder on the recipie for these spells.There are a bunch of em going up to lvl 80 for Focus Rune spellcasters essense.Note there isn't any mass version of this spell since it would have to be over lvl 80.I've made a bunch of these clicky scrolls and they are great for skill ups but not much good for anything else.

Then, once you have the xxx Spellcaster's Essence spell, you cast it to create the xxx Essence. Which you then combine with a xxx binding powder, a xxx binding solution and a piece of parchment to make an xxx Enchanted Spell Parchment.

You can then use the parchment to make these

I have made the spell Focus Crude Spellcaster's Essence and have made "Crude Spellcaster's Empowering Essence" and I have made Crude Enchanted spell parchments and I have made Crude Scroll of Fire Strike. Now how do I make the Primitive, Rudimentary, Makeshift, Elementary, Modest, Simple, etc. enchanted spell parchments? Do they require their own spell? This is a lot more complicated than I thought. At least it is for me. Also, is there a different spell for the "mass" focus spell?

I finally figured out that there is a spell for each powder - crude, makeshift, modest, etc. but am still not sure where the mass comes in. I am going to see if I can find them also. I am hoping there aren't as many of them as I think there is going to be.

The Mass Focus spells are a higher level of the Focus spells which allow you to summon 5 of the Essence's with one cast.

First you learn how to make the Focus XXX Spellcaster's Essence spell, then when you gain a few levels you have gained enough knowlege and power to make the Mass Focus XXX Spellcaster's Essence spell.
