New to research, need help

Hello everyone,

I am doing research for the first time.

I trained research up to 20 at my Guildmaster. But where do I go from here? I am having trouble finding a good guide/walkthrough to get my research skill up. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'd recommend you look into the Binding Powder combines.
Much less expensive than making spells.

What about the various hides that drop? I've put off Research for 8 years, but am looking for something to do... so I figured on a little masochism. =)

That Trivial List just looks like it might be outdated since the revamp... am I correct in assuming that?

Go to Crescent Reach and do the Research tradeskill quest. The NPC is located in the library upstaris from the research vendors.

This will get you to 54 for free.

Then do the Trophy quest from the W Freeport Newbie yard.

Then, if you are very, Very VERY rich, here is a totally storebought path to 243.
