greater mass enchant gold problem

I have been trying to make this spell using the ingrediants listed on this websight, taken directly from a post by Ngreth. I asked around a bit in general chat on my server (test) and I have all the right ingrediants, it is just not working. Has anybody been able to make this spell on live servers?

It still shows up correct in my UI.

I'd check your container, or see if the ink of prexus is stacked.

I am useing a spell research kit, combining ink of prexus x2 (unstacked), ink additive of the nameless, quill of the coercer,ink of druzzil ro, conjuring thickener, and a smooth supple hide.

err scratch that saw what server hmm that combine looks good not sure why it wouldnt be combining...i have made it with my chanter a couple times on xegony.

Off the cuff ideas:

You are using wrong Hide (either a Raw thas has not been converted, or a different spell tier hide).


Perhaps it is still SoF flagged and you don't have SoF.


You are using an old Tome or a Deluxe sewing kit, verses the spell reseach container.


One of the other components looks like the proper component but is really something differene. *Per another thread, Are you using Ink of the Nameless (wrong) verses, Ink Additive of the Nameless (correct, vendor bought).



Have you tried looking up the spell recipe in your research book? If it is there, which item is in red?



Are you trying to do the combine with the container in the bank?



That's all my guesses, hints, tips.

The differences are the Thickeners, which changed due to a suggestion in another thread, but i thought the thickener change didnt go in on time for the last patch.

And since its a MASS enchant ... shouldnt it be Talisman thickener?

I am not sure it is in yet. I did not think it was, but it could have fallen into the space of times.

And though I see your point... Are we sure? Though it is "mass" it is also not cast on a group of players.... (though a group of metal...)

I guess it can be interpretted several ways.

Invigorating Thickener
"It is used for spells that enhance the target in some manner"

Talisman Thickener
"It is used for spells that enhance a group of targets in some manner"


Is a stack of items a single target or group of targets? If there were 20 seperate and non-stacked items id be inclined to stay Group of targets (talisman) but with a single stack.... it could go either way. This is not really an issue though.

It was the thickener, I was able to make the spell finally with the invigorating thickener. Just a reminder, I am on test server, the change might not be on the live.

I just made the spell "Ability Mass Enchant Dwerium" It is invigorating Thickener rather than Conjuring thickener.

Actually I made it with my Enchanter "Kema"
