    New Spell Recipes (16-60)

    Over the next days/weeks, I will be putting in educated guesses for the old LoY spells. Those that I can't confirm will have a trivial of "unknown" and "recipe unconfirmed." in the notes.

    However, since they will be manual edits my brain will turn to mush
    while I'm doing this (1 hr so far, and I'm not thru the A's).

    Please post in the submissions forums (either one) to confirm or help update the recipes.

    wait a sec? i thought we didnt want guesses in the database?

    I have a file of all the 400ish recipies from beta (minus any changes since then, although I have made some)

      Perhaps I am breaking the rules, but I chose to do this for two reasons.

      1. The Submissions information that was flowing in has stymied. I hope this will stimulate submitters to post.

      2. The ongoing debate of "older system vs systematic system". This, I hope, will end once the old recipes are replaced with the new.

      I will be working them out over the next few days with the stash of papyrus/spell scrolls I have and updating the database myself.

      Your confirmation posts will save me time, and duplication, and let us all focus on the harder-to-find recipes.

        Oh, and on the backside of it. The manual editing of the database is somewhat tedious. I have a spreadsheet with about every ink, thickener, quill, additive, and stationary and their 5-digit numbers. My hope is that it would be less of a hassle for my fellow database monkeys to fix.

        I believe the only things that change from my recipes are thickeners and inks, cutting the update time in half.

          well i have my recipies in a personal database with Eqitem id's referencing the appropriate names.

          If it will help, i think ngreth said it would be ok to share. His only concern was that it wouldnt be verified on live.
