Help!!!! What am I doing wrong?

I finally got some hides to use in research and had a sucess with the druid spell: improved superior camoflage. I am not having any sucess with the spells Blessing of Temperance or ranger level 41 shrew spell. Nothing is stacked and am using the recipe as shown in the data base. I get a cannot combine in this container type message. Any sugestions?

I am also having the same problem. I'm doing the journeyman's trophy quest and did all the parts except for making Yaulp V, Talisman of Jasinth, and Form of the Howler. I have none of the items stacked and triple checked the components needed for the combine. I got the error "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" message. I tried combining in both the new Spell Research Kit container and the old Warlocks Book of Binding container and got the error each time on all 3 spell combine attempts. Am I doing something wrong or is this possibly bugged after recent set of patches?

Can you post exactly what you are putting in the Spell Research Kit?

Seems I was using the old components I had in bank from when I played before. I just recently came back to the game and thought the old recipes would still work, but any new ones were changing to this new system. I'd really like to get this trophy made so I can start evolving it before I continue to work up my skill, so does anyone know where I can find the "correct" new recipes for these 3 spells I need to make and any other spell recipes since the database here and on Alla's still show the old components?

You dont need EQ traders to tell you the recipie, the new system allows you to solve that puzzle yourself, and if your looking to get into research seriously enough to get a trophy your going to want to learn the system.

Hmm, will try one of those tonight as they are my real moneymakers. I can confirm as recently as 2 hours before the SoF patch they were working.

You didn't list your ink additive for the shrew spell, did you add one?

Time for a triple check, those thickeners all look the same to me.

I used the Ink Additive of the Nameless. Just tried it again to make sure and got a DNC.

I have dumped the Spell Research Kit and bought another, rebooted my computer, Spun around in my chair 3 times, faced Savannah and recited the Girl Scout Pledge, washed my armor, hugged an Ikzar, Squeezed a Dark Elf (no wine) and watched pigs fly. I am on the Combine server would that make a difference?

It could ... any chance the recipe is not unlocked on your server yet? Although they are LDON spells, technically those recipies didnt become available until the release of TSS.
