Now, I wasn't expecting anything too spectacular, but I figured it would hit for over 1k at the very least. The ornate binding powder may not be rare, but it doesn't seem to be entirely common either. Building a large stockpile of scrolls would likely take some time and be depleted very rapidly if someone started clicking them constantly. I had expected these scrolls to be a nice little damage supplement that could be applied between real nukes in a critical situation, or handed out to all casters on a raid to help with a fast burn. However, I can't see anyone who meets the required level of 75 ever having a use for such a tiny nuke. I can only conclude the sole purpose of these spell scrolls is to provide a relatively easy path to skill up. Given the phenomenal strength of new items in other tradeskills, it seems pretty strange to have such a weak effect in research.

The damage of the scrolls was DEFINATELY disscussed during beta, infact it was actually increased to the ~300max during beta. I agree that there should be more damage done with these clicks, but a longer recast to compensate so your not chain clicking them. That or change them to the other utility effects such Heals, HoTs, Snares, stuns etc.

I do believe Ngreth was open to reevaluating their damage at a later date. I really think it all depend on how common the binding is, but id definately like to see them breaking 1k, closer to 2k at the highest level.

Is the DoD research guide wrong when it lists Luclin for magic resists? This MR resist scroll uses Druzzil. All the other general resist inks seem to match that of these combines.

Sorry but won't let me link to guide.

For Additive, Magic is Luclin’s Ink Additive

For Ink, Magic is Ink of Druzzil Ro

          Recast on them?

Did I miss it? I only made enough to test per-cast damage at elaborate and higher until I can see a practical use.
What is the recast on scroll click?

Is there a Vendor with books about making these spells and scrolls? If so where do I find him?

It's a scroll bought on the research vendors. Called "enchanted spell scrolls" or something like that.
