Phanasmal Tome not working?

I have a mid 50s chanter and I am trying to combine a few things. I have tried the Faded Salil's writ pages that need nothing else to combine with them and get can't combine in this container type messages.

Any suggestions?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but all the old combines that used pages, writs etc will no longer work. With the new expasion I think all combines moved to the new system.

Forgive my obvious clueless state but what new system? Is there info here on this site I can get to figure out what I need to do for spells now if it all changed?

The patch message doesn't mention that the old components and containers are now invalid. I wish there was some solid notification somewhere, like on the news section of EQTC.

Heh, no need to delete it, if your so attached. It still functions as a container...if nothing else
