Which class does research the easiest?

if it used the "book" containers, and is not a spell recipe, it has been made to work in the new spell research kit. This includes things such as swatches, probably wizard 1.5 (I just converted everything that used those containers... I did not look at what they actually are), GoD and OoW runes, and things such as that.

If it is a spell of any sort that used runes, pages, words, Deity parts, etc... no mater the expansion, it has had a recipe made in the new system.

If it had a recipe in the old containers I converted it. I did not create any "new" recipes that did not have an old recipe.

None of these changes will go live until the expansion.

Link does not display anything useful for me. 1st tab shows Splurt and times out after a minute or so.

Which brings up a question. Splurt is currently not researchable and is only available through quest in Kunark, will spells Unswerving Hammer of Faith, Wake of Tranquility, Egress, Boon of the Clear Mind, Clarity II, Recant Magic, Splurt, Abscond, Thunderbolt, and Tears of Solusek (and other classes) all be researchable now negating the old Kunark quest?

Check the 4th tab, that's the spell listing. The first 3 tabs never got used.
(and no, the Kunark "lottery" spells are not on the list)

Will the old and new recipies co-exist, or do the new recipies replace the old? Will the old research drops be replaced by hide, papyrus, etc, or continue to drop in the places they always have?

The LoY swatches are made from the old research drops (Runes, Words, etc). Will the old research drops continue to exist, but be useless except for the swatches? Will the LoY swatches be converted to use the new hide/papyrus/etc drops?

Depends on how much time I get. Either it will be a replace, or for a short time they will co-exist. Go ahead and use your supplies.

Drops needed for recipes such as that, and celestial essence will still drop.

As it is ALL of the drops will continue to be in until I have time to kill them.

Um, what are OoW and GoD Runes in terms of spell research?

For Omens of War the Muramite Runes (minor, lesser, =, Greater and Glowing) are turned in for spells. Those spells can all be researched.

The Spells from GoD were also Runes, dropped from boss mobs. Those spells can also be researched.

The only spells from either era that cannot be researched are the ancient spells (as non of the ancient spells can be researched yet).
