Bad Bad Bad idea to make it a super rare component. Why? Because it would make the spells outrageously expensive in the bazaar, and deny access to them for most people, in addition to the other evils this encourages. If rank 3 research spells is going to be added like this, particularly if they are going to be rendered obsolete by new spells, then the components should not be rare.

I went to the editgrid kyroskrane put up and submitted my first pass at some spells (Spells Step 1)
this is in no way all of the spells I am doing, just the first few I did when I was working on my day off.

I just wanted to pass it by you very detail minded folks to be sure I was following pattern.

The purple highlighted ones I am not too happy with. I may need to come up with some new ink and/or thickener to cover them.

I had a look at the spreadsheet and if we are not careful all we are going to really do is create confusion and chaos.

It needs to be slightly more organised to be useful to Ngreth. I would like to propose the following.

1) Set up a spreadsheet which already contains all the spell names from 1 to 75 broken up by class (not sure if this can be pulled from Lucy).
2) Set it up so someone can select a spell add the ingredients and add their name (for qudos).
3) Add a column for someone to add their name to identify spells has been checked and confirmed.
4) Also add column for "something iffy about this spell" as there may be spells as Ngreth suggested that may require new non existing ingredients.

Im actually working on a web app that will do this. Ive fallen behind unfortunately due to some problems setting up the hosting and my real job / rading keeping me busier then i care for.

Everything you mentioned has is already planned as being part of the system .

I've got a 4 day long weekend this week, so expect something for tuesday.

lesse... transposed the last two digits, then first digit should be 9 not 8, the 9 not 5, and that should be ink of Alacrity (93577)
