    Hi all.

I have around 600 diffrent parchments saved for a skillup run on spell research. I was wondering if anyone know what spells use the same ink etc. Don't really care if it got any re-sell value I just wanna get as far as possible in my skills without doing to much different subcombines.

Heres a nice set that uses only 3 subcomined items. Ink of Pain, Quill of the arcanist and Arcane Thickener.

Draught of Ro - Lvl 62 (Trivial 262)
    Fine Parchment
    Quill of the Arcanist
    Ro's Ink Additive
    Arcane Thickener
    Ink of Pain

Draught of Lightning - Lvl 63 (Trivial 292)
    Agnarr's Thunder
    Vellum Parchment
    Quill of the Arcanist
    Luclin's Ink Additive
    Arcane Thickener
    Ink of Pain
    Ink of Pain

    Draught of E`ci - Lvl 64 (Trivial 322)
    Fine Vellum Parchment
    Quill of the Arcanist
    E'ci's Ink Additive
    Arcane Thickener

Shock of Magic - lvl 65 (Trivial 351)
    Runic Parchment
    Quill of the Arcanist
    Luclin's Ink Additive
    Arcane Thickener
    Ink of Pain

Spark of Fire - lvl 66 (Trivial 360)
    Fine Runic Parchment
    Quill of the Arcanist
    Ro's Ink Additive
    Arcane Thickener
    Ink of Pain

Personally, I think your better off doing several spells unless you farmed all those parch's yourself and have millions and millions of plat in the bank. Not to mention if your serious about research doesnt hurt to have all those extra recipies in your book.

I've always found the healing ones to be quick and easy. Only 1 ink, and it's the same ink in all of these.

only problem with those it looks like your switching Quills and Thickeners quite a bite.

However ... they will probably sell better.

Since PP is no issue make like 10 of each spell at a time. They stack so storage is not a problem. Doing one class at a time helps too. If you are going to do some cleric, druid, and shaman spells, do all the cleric's then all the druids, then all the shaman. Helps with not having to switch around too much and you can at least make as many quills for a class at one time as you are going to attempt.

If you have room and can decide what spells you are going to make in advance, list out the components:
            Quills
            Inks
            Thickeners
            Additives
Then buy or make all the ones you will need for your run so once you start the spell combines you don't need to remake any subcombines.

I generally keep 69/70 and 65 parchments for last, then mass burn the others. Reasoning is to use the 65/9/70 parchments for good bazaar sellers and then use the rest as fast burn fodder since the spells aren't really worth as much.

As people move away from WoS and OoW in general, they will be more valuable, but as it is, the Muramite Rune market is still really healthy on my server.
