I am a bit frustrated over this yath's pg. 65L for research trophy. Is it really that rare? I have beenin Veksar, FG, Dulak, Nadox and not seen it in a week's worth of greenie bonking

Anyone know of a spot that might have the best results?

Squids and Crustaceans in Natimbi drop all sorts of research material, and I have seen that one several times.

However, for each of the listed mobs the drop rate was between 1 in 100 and 1 in 200. So just find somewhere you can kill large quantities (Natimbi and FG both look good) and start slaughtering for the drop.

Well 6 hours in Natimbi killing Souls, Nocs, Hynid, squids and crusaceons and anything else I found and I did not see one.

I went to FG and spent 4 hours there, and didn't see the sub 50 components drop like Natimbi had, but I only got a couple runes, words, and couple yaths that were not 65L.

This last part of the trophy is taking so long I could have been up to 250 and on next trophy, hehe.

what server are you on? Maybe a trade supply hoarder might have one socked away they can sell/give ya.

Xegony. I have been bugging the guildies, one of which has almost a full accout of tradeskill mules

I have /auc in bazzar many times too, just been unlucky I hope. I am gonna try setting up in buyer mode a few days instead of trader as well.

Finally got one in Natimbi off a Noc on one of the NE platforms. Killed these mobs for +30 hours over several days before finally seeing it though.

/sigh If I knew these were part of the research trophy, I would have saved them. While farming marsinger parts to MQ in hate, I had like 31 of them drop.

I got mine in POM. Took a few hours of clearing the woods, but it did drop.
