Listing of researchers

I have been all over this website, and one thing seems to be missing.

Since the DoD Augs are heavily dependant on the Int casters that can research spells and that have done the necessary quests, it would be help to have a thread of people by name and server that could make such combines. It is getting incredibly harder to find such people.

Could a thread be started to list name/server of people that can do such combines?

I guess I am not familiar with DoD/DoDh aug quests required of researchers..

Have a link to either the quest or the item they will ultimate create for you?

I believe Berthold means the Belfast quests that result in the Mechanoinstruction Manual and Scrindite's Senescent Scribbles used to make the Holepoker.


The Holepoker and the manual are are needed to make the Mechanoinstructions used in the Bazu/Discordant/Chronal/Last Blood augs. Both the manual and the scribbles are nodrop, but the resulting combines from the scribbles are all tradeable, so if you can pick one up in the bazaar or from a friend, only the Manual quest must be done by the researcher.

For server specific stuff like that, you can use the marketplace forums at http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/forumdisplay.php?f=79

They're broken down by server. Some servers have stickies that list people on that server with sufficient skills who want to be included. If your server doesn't have a sticky already, feel free to start one.

Also, look through the 300 !!!! thread for researchers on yuor server, then inquire (in game) about their ability to do the mechanoinstruction combines.

Only the manual is no drop actually, you can borrow a Scribbles from anyone who has done the quest (or more likely, do the quest yourself then loan the Scribbles to whoever you get to make your holepoker).

As stated above, lists of researchers can be done on a per-server basis by using the Marketplace forums, or check the 300! thread for someone on your server.
