Mage research skill up path...

I have a 57 mage with a paltry research skill of 103. (I had 135 training points saved up for research that became useless with the DoD changes)

I know the cheapest skillup path is to do traditional mage research for a while longer before going to the expense of the new system.

What I need to know are some of the Words I should be looking for when killing, vendor diving and bazaar shopping.

Can someone please give me one or two spells that will get me to around 150 and another one or two that will get me near 200.

(1) Summon Ring of Flight (trivial 142) - look for Words of Collection (Azia)

(2) Conjuration: Air (trivial 162) - look for Words of Incarceration (keep all successes for next step)

(3) Greater Conjuration: Air (trivial 182) - look for Words of Bondage & Wings of Xegony

(4) Greater Conjuration: Fire (trivial 182) - look for Words of Bondage & Breath of Ro

For TSS:

I see you have been studying TSS hides as a skillup path already so no need to point those out to you.

The TSS spell scrolls can also get you up to 172 skill.

The TSS papyrus may not be as cost efficient to get you to 223 skill as plain old DoD solutions.

Do a lookup on swatches. One set will get you to 112 and the next will get you to about 132. These are made cheap and most of the components are easily found vender diving. There are a lot of different flavours so make a list of the droped reagents to look for. Also things like "Breath of Ro" usually sell cheap in Bazaar too.

From 132 I would start on Parchment solutions to 144 but this might be expensive for you, if you can't get you hands on the sulfur and saltpeter. Although at 57, POI is a place you can group.
