I have a trader up all the time. There are 168 hours a week, and I play my character about 18 of them, so the other 150 are either offline or afk-trader.

Now, last week I got a tell saying "I bought a spell from you, the money went to you, the spell was removed from your inventory, but I did not receive it."

This happened once before where the person buying the spell didn't realize the icon for GoD spells was different. So I happened to see the tell and I sent the person a reply asking them if they had found the spell, and made sure they knew the icon was different.

He replied "Yes, I know about the icon differences. I don't know what happened, but I have petioned to see if they can look into it."

So I figure let SoE take care of it. Everything working fine on my end. In fact I had a guildmate come buy a similar spell just to check it out, and it worked fine, item transfer completed as normal.

But then, a week later, I get the same story from somebody different player in a tell (was AFK, didn't respond) that they also bought a spell but did not receive it.

And apparently somebody was /OoC'n "Be careful buying spells here, I just bought 3 different spells and 1 of them didn't get put into my inventory!"

    Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar experience the other week, someone bought two copies of a shaman spell but couldn't find them in their inventory.

They might want to check any tradeskill containers they carry. People forget to check those, and if you got a bag/book the items will end up in there and unless you press the manual combine view button you wont see the items.

My first thoughts were (A) they made a mistake or (B) trying to scam me. But he didn't pressure me, or ask for his money back. He simply petitioned and tried to get it worked out that way. So I don't think he was really trying to scam me. It's just odd I get 2 different people telling me it happened, about a week apart.
