Research progression stuck?

Hi all,

Just wondering if my research progression trophy is broke

I currently have 248 research, and my trophy is stuck on tier 4 at 52% for the longest time. I believe i have made around 40 or so combines without raising limits? Is it stuck til i hit 250?

Any ideas?

I could be wrong, but I believe that only non-trivial combines will improve the trophy. I'm presently at 228 research, and my trophy went from 52 to 53 just on 5 level 61 spell combines.

All my spell combines have trivial of 292 through 351, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Did you forget to equip it for some of those? The only time it should stop altogether is if it somehow got ahead of you and went to the next level before you did.

i have forgot to equip my trophy once or twice, but the majority of the time it is equipped. When i first got the trophy it was on tier 4, and it was progressing at a decent rate until i reached a skillrate of 243. Since then, it hasn't progressed and is stuck on 52%.

Since my previous post in this thread, I have made 40 Runic Parchment Solution combines, and my trophy went up 8 percent, averaging 5 combines per percentage point.

All my spell combines have trivial of 292 through 351, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Your skill is sub 250, so the 351 trivial spells are too high to skill up your trophy.

Did you "deactivate" your trophy by accident?

Check the bottom of your Evolving Items tap for the activate / deactivate buttons. Or see if there's a green or red color box surrounding your trophy when you have it equipped. If it's green, then it's activated.

I did de-activated and immediately re-activated once. So i thought it might have not registered server-side, so i petitioned. Got reply back saying there was no known issue, and i should seek out player help.

I tried Bobaten's suggestion and did a run of lower trivial spells, in this case 291. I was relieved to see that it started to progress. I now have a tier 5 trophy and a skill lvl of 251.
