  • Problem/Question Please on Research

Hello. I am a lvl 20 necro and getting started in research. ATM I am attempting to do this via the Practice Runes route. I have had no problem except now I am at skill lvl 16. I am trying to combine the following:

Aprentice Azia - Hematite, Bixie Wing, Froglok Eye
Apprentice Beza - Cats Eye Agate, Large Snake Rattle, Any Rusty Piercing or Bludgeoning Weapon

Each of which trivials at 41. As I stated my skill is at 16, but I am getting the message of "you can no longer advance in this..." Why would I be getting this message if my skill level is only at 16? Yes, I have checked and rechecked to make sure I have all components correct. Thanks for any help in this.

Also, is there any better way to skill up?

Been a while since I did this....
As I understand it from checking the database, the combinations to make
Apprentice Azia and Beza runes are No-Fail combines (prolly triv <16). It is the COMBINATION of Azia and Beza runes in the container that has triv 41.
    Give it a try

Yes, that's correct. You must combine the two halves in your necro research tome, and THAT combine has a 41 trivial.

Also, you may want to take a look at this thread, Rough Draft Guide, for other ideas on raising your skill...ex: Vial of Pure Water trivial is 54, and you can save them to use in later combines....
