LDoN Spells

Has anyone heard anything, even rumors, about making LDoN spells researchable? It seems that no one ever does the missions anymore and you can't get a solo instance. Just seems to make sense and was wondering.

Remove Greater Curse is already both, I do not see any reasons why the others should not be, especially given the current lack of incentive to complete LDoN missions.

I think converting the LDoN system to a crystal based system like DoN would help a lot. It would being more people back to LDoNs and because of the closed loop system LDoNs (non transferable points, all items no dropped flagged, and items that pale when compared to other available items / level of difficulty to obtain) there is vertually no reason to do any of the missions. Obtaining a spell / filling a spell book, is the only reason for people to do them as is.

RGC was in the game long before LDoN came along. It was added to the LDoN Vendors due to increasing demand that the spell only really dropping on top raid mobs in Luclin was too rare. It is also not part of DoD research, but LoY research.

It is also, iirc, the only spell in the list that drops from mobs also.

Yes Wyv, RGC was introduced with Luclin I believe and dropped from boss mobs in that expansion (still does afaik).

Yeah Gor, I could go for a crystal type purchase system. I don't know if it would encourage anyone but bazaar merchants to do the missions though.

RGC's little brother, Remove Curse, is also both LDoN bought as well as mob dropped.
